Dear Alumni, Family and Friends,
The San Diego Chapter of U.S. Friends of Chalmers will meet Thursday May 5th, 2015 at 6:00 PM at Casa Svedlund (7329 Eads Avenue, La Jolla) to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. This time there will be some tacos (Swedish style) accompanied by some appropriate beverages, all included in the donation of $20 per person.
An anecdote from Bo Hedfors: On a stormy day in end of the 19th century a Sail ship, fully loaded with mayonnaise, sank near the Mexican coast. It is the memory of this tragic event, one dedicated May 5th as Cinco de Mayo.
Looking forward to seeing you all there! For U.S. Friends of Chalmers
