Double events in Seattle – Scholarship Award Ceremony and Club Emil

On Thursday, May 24, 2018 we hope to see you at our scholarship award ceremony in Seattle. Chalmers is dedicated to strengthening the bonds with the U.S. and proud to award three full tuition-fee scholarships for a two-year Master’s Degree to American students.

The Chairman of U.S. Friends of Chalmers will be present to award the scholarships together with some of the major donors and representatives from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.

When: May 24 at 5.00 – 7.00 pm
Where: Swedish Club, 1920 Dexter Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109
Sign up: Here by May 17 (tickets to Club Emil are sold separately, see below)

Drinks and Hors d’oeuvres will be served after the Award Ceremony.

The Scholarship Ceremony is free of charge and we welcome old and new friends to attend and learn more about Chalmers and how we work to strengthen the bonds between Sweden and the U.S.

Scholarship dinner by Chalmers – Club Emil
Directly following the scholarship ceremony, there will be a fundraising dinner featuring an old Chalmers tradition – “Club Emil”. That is, yellow Peasoup, Punsch and Pancakes along with vari-ous songs and impromptu performances. The donation price to participate in this festive event is $100. Chalmers covers all expenses so your donation goes directly to support the Scholarship Program. You are welcome to join us and become part of the Chalmers family as well as a supporter of the U.S. Friends of Chalmers Scholarship Program.
